Applying
for a Grant |
| |
| The primary goal of the organization is to strengthen
educational and cultural opportunities for the citizens of Newberry County (South
Carolina) and to encourage the appreciation of Newberry County's history. A
secondary goal is to meet humanitarian needs in our county. Generally, grants
of under $10,000 are paid lump sum while grants from $10,000 to $100,000 are paid over
several years.
In 2003, we changed our grant application process from regular mail to an online system.
This change has allowed us to save postage and process all applications months
earlier. Our turn around time for a grant application has been reduced
from around 9 months to around 9 days. |
